2018 St. Vincent De Paul Servant Leader
On Tuesday, June 5th, at the Whitley Theological Center, Ascension DePaul Services hosted a vibrant gathering of San Antonio business leaders and community members as we celebrated the recipient of the 2018 St. Vincent de Paul Servant Leader Award, George B. Hernández, President and CEO of University Health System. His dedication to healthcare access and to the betterment of the city of San Antonio is inspiring!

Additionally, Sister Consuelo Tovar celebrated her 50th anniversary jubilee as a Daughter of Charity! Sr. Consuelo serves as Chief Advocacy & Mission Integration Officer of Ascension DePaul Services. 
Funding the Mission
The luncheon was a HUGE success for Ascension DePaul Services! Our organization relies on private donors to fund our programs and operations and we were ecstatic to receive support from our event sponsors and individual donors. A generous anonymous donor provided matching funds which brought our event total for sponsorships and donations to $100,000!
